If approaching from the east on the A316 take the slip road off when you see the Twin Chimneys of the Kempton Park Pumping Station on your left down to the roundabout and take the third exit into Snakey Lane, first exit at the next roundabout (Snakey Lane), then next left – following the brown signs as above. If using a SatNav please ensure that your directions are via Snakey Lane.

As the railway is situated on Thames Water land, please bear in mind that if you are coming to visit us outside public days (see above), it is essential that you let us know in advance for security reasons. Access can be made via the main gate using the intercom system. Once through the gate, drive 0.75 miles to the car park and you will see our Ticket Office and railway on the right.

By Taxi

On operational railway days, taxis can enter through the Museum gate and drive to the museum. To exit, taxis will be able to safely approach the black automatic gates and exit. If a taxi drops you at the main gate, please remember the walk to the railway is 0.75 (20 minutes walk).
